World Of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Compact Edition

Here’s your basic World of Warcraft fishing guide.

You must learn fishing from a trainer, just like other professions. Unlike primary trades like mining and tailoring everyone can learn fishing as a top up for what they already know. Your leveling would can be hugely improved if you purchase a pole and some lures. Find some water and begin to fish as soon as you are fully stocked up. You can discover the fishing trainers close to bodies of water so there will be no need to travel very far. Nearly all bodies of water can be fished. It’s not possible to fish whilst swimming but you can be close to and even standing in the water. To start off with you need to equip the pole, if you will be using a lure add one. Go to your spell book and find your fishing skill then just click it to cast. Make minor adjustments to the direction you’re facing if it doesn’t land in the water, you’ll always cast the way you face. You will see a channeling spell when you are successful. Click again to get the fish. Repeat this as often as you want.

World of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Requirements.

You will only retrieve junk if your skill is too low for the zone you are in. If this is so you would be better off moving to a lower level zone to be in with a chance of catching usable fish.

World of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Training And Leveling.

Fishing does not expect you to learn either spells or recipes similar to many other trades. Your nearest fishing coach can teach you it. There’s only 1 thing that can improve your skill level in fishing and that is how many fish you can catch.  It is not always the case that you earn a skill point for each and every fish you catch but to start with this is true. You must get usable fish to sell or cook so attempt to fish in the appropriate places. It will take about 12 hours to get a 400 skill in fishing.
